It’s so important to take pride in our work. You should want to show off what you have accomplished! You have more confidence when you’re proud of the things that you have accomplished.
Do you ever say yes to something knowing you won’t have the time to put your full effort into it? You know that at the end of baking that cake or doing that project for work you’ll not be proud of what you have done. Well, follow these three easy steps to take more pride in your work.
How can you do this?
1. Only say yes to things that are a Hell Yes!
So often we say yes to things because it’s what we feel we “should” do or just because. When you say a halfhearted yes you’re going to put in a half-hearted effort. Saying Hell Yes will give full effort because it’s something you’re passionate about or excited for.
2. Manage your time
After you’ve given the hell, yes figure out how much time you will need to accomplish this task. If it’s baking a birthday cake don’t wait until the hour before the party. You know it will take time to cool and you don’t give yourself enough time you will end up with something you didn’t envision or you’re not proud of.
3. Put your name on it
I don’t know about you, but when I know my name will be on something I always give it a little extra love. I want to be able to be proud of what I’m putting out. Putting your name on things forces you to own it and take pride!
